Proud to be a Texan since 1981, a Ft Worth Texan to be more exact. What a great town to live in, to raise a family, to work and to be a part of the community. Truly a place to call home.

I spent several decades working in Broadcast Television for NBC5, an owned and operated station in Ft Worth/Dallas. So many great memories working with such talented folks and along the way I was blessed to win 14 Emmy Awards for my creative talents.

I have since moved on from Broadcast Television and now you will find me at TCU as an Instructor for Digital Photography for the Extended Education Department or if you come up to Wyoming, there you will find me as a Photography Guide leading photography trips or photography workshops in Yellowstone during the summer.

Photography has always been a part of my life going back to my childhood. My world exists through the lens of my camera. That is where I feel the wildlife. That is where I feel the landscape. Through the lens is like no other world and it’s home to me.

My artistic process for my Fine Art Photography starts with a drive, a hike or a walk. I’m just looking, observing, being in the moment. I’m looking for areas that offer elements for my imagery. Those elements could be big or small, textures, patterns, flora or fauna and it is so exciting when they all come together.

My goal for my Fine Art Photography is to create an emotion of wonder and of excitement within people and through that emotion, bring people to an awareness of the importance of having open spaces in our country to enjoy, to hike, to climb, to hunt, to camp, to fish, to visit and to have areas where our wildlife can freely roam and graze and live.
